Max

Max is a Sorcerer on a quest to defeat the false god terrorizing the land! They gear themself up, stock up on items, and set out for the false god's lair.

Max's first stop on their journey is the capital of the country, where they are drawn to a bakery by lovely scents wafting out onto the street. They order a few treats... Maybe a bit more than a few. Okay, a lot. By the end of the day, Max's belly is bloated and laden with cakes and fresh bread. They rub their overstuffed gut as they drift off into a food coma that night. All those baked goods show up on their figure the next day, and they curse themself for being so greedy.

After hitting the road again, Max encounters group of slimes. The slimes manage to corner Max, and launch themselves into their mouth! Max's belly begins to distend as the slimes rapidly fill their stomach, and by the end of it, they're stuck feeling beyond bloated. At least they survived the slime attack... But now they've got extra flab to deal with.

After this battle, they stumble upon a(n) swamp, where they encounter a beautiful nymph who gives them a kiss. Max loses control of themself, and the nymph begins to feed them all sorts of foods. After an hour or two of being fed, Max's belly is taut and round, and the nymph looks satisfied. The nymph kisses Max once more and disappears, leaving a pudgy Max stuck being too full to get up immediately.
While at the swamp, Max encounters a witch. The witch asks for Max to help her test some of her new potions, as her usual potion-testing minion is away on holiday and none of her other minions want to. They reluctantly agree, and take a swig of the nearest potion. However, that potion makes their body swell a little, and the witch explains to them that they accidentally took the inflation potion that she intended to use on other adventurers! She sends tubby Max on their way afterward.

Finally, Max arrives at the false god's forest. After a long and arduous battle, Max manages to defeat the false god. The false god begs Max to spare them, and Max foolishly does so. The false god rewards them with the biggest feast that they could manage to procure (i.e. get their minions/followers to cook). Unbeknownst to Max, however, the false god has enchanted the food to make Max even more hungry as they eat. As a result, Max ends up eating the entire table's worth of food, unsure as to why they feel so insatiably hungry. The false god then sends their minions/followers to roll the extremely round and dazed adventurer out of the forest, as they false god gloats about fooling them into pigging out to the point that they're not likely to be a threat to their next plan.

Max is now immobile. Their gluttony during their travels has finally caught up to them, and they can no longer adventure.

Max visits the factory with their family in tow. Their parents try to tell them off for scoffing down experimental candy, and are horrified when Max begins to swell.
Even though Max expands and fattens at a rapid pace, they feel lighter and bouncer than ever. The tour guide explains that Max is turning into the world's biggest marshmallow. 
Above all else, Max is mortified to think of how their family will react to seeing them in this bizarre state.
