We're pleased to announce that you can now log into ShindanMaker using both Email+Password and Apple ID authentication.
Login using Email and Password
In your Profile Edit Page on the MyPage, there are newly added fields for Email and Password. By registering these two values, you can log in using the email and password.
This feature was implemented to allow users to log into ShindanMaker even if the external service they used to log in, such as X (Twitter), becomes unavailable for some reason.
However, for the first-time login (new user registration) to ShindanMaker, authentication through an external service is required. Thus, new user registration solely based on email registration is not possible.
Login through Apple ID authentication
We've added Apple ID to the list of external services you can use to log into ShindanMaker.
Even if you don't have an SNS account like X(Twitter), Misskey, or Mastodon, if you own an Apple ID, you can register (log in) to ShindanMaker.
Moreover, in the Settings for External Service Integration on the MyPage, you can link your existing ShindanMaker account with Apple ID and use Apple ID to log into that account.
Login authentication through Google is also being prepared.
We are currently preparing to allow logins using Google accounts. We'll inform you as soon as it's implemented.
Revision of Privacy Policy
In light of these changes, we have updated our Privacy Policy. We've added a section about email address collection.
