During the Events of Captain America Civil War Zonic joins Team Captain America believing that the Sokovia accords can easily be corrupted by political agenda pushing. During the Airport clash Zonic finds themselves facing off against Warmachine. Surprisingly, Zonic is able to defeat their opponent and finds themselves escaping with Cap and Bucky on the Quinjet and head for Moscow where not long after Iron Man seems to now believe Bucky has been framed Zemo plays a tape revealing the tragic truth that Bucky murdered Howard and Maria Stark. And that Cap knew all along Zonic assists Iron Man in trying to take out Bucky. Zonic and Iron Man are no match for the combined might of Captain America and Bucky. Iron Man demands Cap drop the shield his father made him which he does. Panther has learned of Bucky’s innocence and captured Zemo but the Avengers are divided. Hopefully one day you'll all be friends again.
