Let's create a diagnosis in Trial Mode!
- Trial Mode is a feature that allows you to create a diagnosis without logging in.(Some specifications differ from those of the regular mode in which users create diagnoses while logged in.More details)
- Please Log in if you wish to use all the features of ShindanMaker.
About Trial Mode
- Diagnoses created in Trial Mode will not be displayed under the latest diagnoses or in search results.
- Diagnoses created in Trial Mode cannot be edited after they are created. You can delete a diagnosis by using the deletion password that you have set.
- Some items cannot be registered when creating a diagnosis.
- In Trial Mode, you will not see the various notifications (e.g., notifications when a diagnosis has been added to Favorites or when the total number of people diagnosed exceeds ○○○) that are delivered to "My Page" for users who create diagnoses while logged in.
- Diagnosis pages created by users who are logged in will display their user name, but diagnoses created in Trial Mode will automatically generate and display the poster's ID instead of their user name.
How to create a branching diagnosis
Branching diagnosis is a type of diagnosis that branches out based on the results as the user selects options such as "yes" or "no" in response to each question to arrive at the final diagnosis results.
Branching diagnosis is a method of creating diagnosis content by creating multiple elements called pages.
You can select either "question" or "diagnosis results" for each page and link one question to the next to lead the user to the final diagnosis results.
The required items differ depending on whether the page is a question or a set of diagnosis results.
- | Item | Instructions | |
---|---|---|---|
Question | Page content | The question that branches out into different pages depending on the choice selected. | |
The text of the choice 1 | Destination page | Set an answer for the question (e.g., "Yes") and the page the user is directed to when the choice is selected. | |
The text of the choice 2 | Destination page | Set an answer for the question (e.g., "Yes") and the page the user is directed to when the choice is selected. | |
Diagnosis results | Heading | The heading of the diagnosis results in the form, "You are ○○." | |
Page content | The text of the diagnosis results. | ||
Images | You can set an image to be displayed in the diagnosis results. |
For example, suppose you wish to create a branching diagnosis with one question and two sets of diagnosis results.
Page 1 | Class | Question |
---|---|---|
Page content | Would you like a hot drink? | |
Choices1 | Text[Yes]Destination[2] | |
Choices2 | Text[No]Destination[3] | |
Page 2 | Class | Diagnosis results |
Heading | Please have some hot water. | |
Page content | We recommend some hot water since you would like a hot drink. | |
Page 3 | Class | Diagnosis results |
Heading | Please have some tap water. | |
Page content | We recommend some tap water since you do not want a hot drink. |
Selecting "Yes" to the question on Page 1 will take the user to the diagnosis results on Page 2, while selecting "No" will take them to the diagnosis results on Page 3.
In this example, the user can only arrive at two possible sets of diagnosis results from one question, but you can also link one question to another question, which leads to another question, etc. You can create up to a total of 255 pages containing questions and diagnosis results.
The Check branching button is designed for checking the overall branching configuration. Clicking this button allows you to see a flowchart that shows how the pages are linked to one another. This button is located next to the "Diagnosis preview" button on this diagnosis creation page.
To make it easier for you to create diagnoses, we have prepared templates containing pages with predefined questions and diagnosis results. These templates feature multiple patterns with different numbers of pages such as 7, 15, 31, etc. We hope you find them useful.
We have also prepared sample diagnoses in Sample data. You can take a look at the structure with which a diagnosis can be created by referring to these samples.
Any diagnosis that you are currently creating will be automatically saved as a draft. Even if the creation process is disrupted, you can continue creating the diagnosis from the "Drafts" menu on the page where you select the type of diagnosis to create. Please note that images saved in drafts of branching diagnoses will be deleted after a certain period of time has elapsed.
Template
You can create a branching diagnosis using a template containing predefined questions and diagnosis results. Multiple templates are available. You can also create a diagnosis without using a template.

Formatting
Regarding formatting
The formatting of text displayed in descriptions and diagnosis results can be partially changed.
- In this form, enter the text that you would like to change the formatting of, then set each field to {{ text::hello, world;; google-font::Train One;; font-size::20;; color::FF0000;; }}. It will be converted to the data to insert, containing this site's special notation, which is automatically created. When the data to insert is copied to the description or diagnosis result text, the configured formatting will be displayed in the diagnosis page.
- When used for diagnosis results, formatting can also be applied to list variables and functions such as [LIST1]. However, it cannot be applied to text displayed inside chart functions.
- The text size in descriptions cannot be changed.
