rina tennoji was looking through the kitchen when they were accosted by animated cutlery. They were picked up by several tongs and tossed into a large pot, its lid slamming as the animated kitchenware prepared them as a meal for their friends! ...or perhaps just a first course in a meal of their friends.

Good thing they brought the antacids.

At the start of the contest, Surmire  was allowed to choose an item to aid them in surviving on the island. They chose a rope for its utility, but all that meant was that their predator had something to tie them up with when they caught them. Whoops!
