However, there was people who don't really liked Asuka, for example Kagaya Ubuyashiki, Makio and Giyu Tomioka.
Suma and Gyomei Himejima dislikes Asuka.
Nichika Ubuyashiki/Gyokko hates Asuka.
During that year Asuka managed to slay 18 demons.
And also Asuka got himself/herself a nemesis...it is Spider Mother Demon.
Of course Asuka improved after that year, Asuka starts were raised by:
